Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Landsbergis to meet with the Romanian chief of diplomacy in Bucharest

On 29-30 August, in Bucharest, Romania, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis will hold bilateral political consultations with the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Luminița-Teodora Odobescu on the most pressing items on the international agenda.

At the invitation of the Romanian chief of diplomacy, Landsbergis will also participate in the annual meeting of Romanian diplomacy (RADR 2023) themed “A firm foreign policy of Romania: managing challenges and maximising opportunities”.

The head of Lithuania’s diplomacy will speak at an open session titled: “From the Baltic to the Black Sea: Strengthening Security and Connectivity”. Then, with other participants of the meeting – Ambassadors residing in Romania and foreign policy analysts –  Landsbergis will discuss security and defence, Russia’s war against Ukraine and other relevant topics.
