Partial results from the Czech Republic’s Chamber of Deputies elections indicate that the pro-Russian ANO movement, led by former Prime Minister and oligarch Andrej Babiš, is currently in the lead. With results counted from 19% of polling districts, ANO has garnered nearly 40% of the support.

According to data released by the Czech Statistical Office, Petr Fiala‘s pro-European SPOLU coalition has received approximately 20% of the votes. Conversely, the pro-Russian Staczilo! (“Enough!”) coalition, which includes participants from the Communist Party and leftist Social Democrats, appears unlikely to gain representation in parliament.

A forecast from the STEM/MARK polling agency, prepared for the Czech station CNN Prima News, suggests that Babiš’s ANO movement is projected to win the elections with around 35.49% of the vote. The SPOLU coalition is expected to achieve over 22.44%.

Throughout the electoral campaign, there has been an increase in disinformation efforts from Russia, particularly through social media channels. A source obtained by the Polish News Agency (PAP) identifies the far-right Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) party and the Staczilo! coalition as a key Russian influence within Czech politics.
